This Twine game is an example of a war table mission written for the Dragon Age universe. This original mission showcases the iconic branching paths of the Inquisition advisors and their agents. New characters and locations are introduced through mission reports, culminating in a new open-world area for the player to explore.

Rites of Conscription is a fantasy sample written for the Dragon Age universe. It explores themes of hope, identity, and sisterhood in a two-page short story of a young Rivaini woman conscripted for war.

INTERACTIVE SCRIPT DIALOGUE: A LETTER FOR REED

This Twine dialogue, written for a RPG fantasy setting, explores a romance branch that results in a break-up with an NPC companion. Although the break-up can’t be avoided once this branch has started, the player’s dialogue choices offer satisfying and cathartic responses to a betrayal from a trusted party member.

GAME EXCERPT: THEMIS DIVISION

This sample contains excerpts from Themis Division, a narrative science-fiction Twine game written and developed for the 2022 Global Game Jam. Drawing stylistic and thematic inspiration from Black Mirror, Fahrenheit 451, and Disco Elysium, the writing was intended to be complex and ambitious for a 48-hour game jam.
